Governance

Corporate governance is a set of policies, requirements, processes and procedures affecting the way Agora is directed, administered and controlled and includes the relationships between the major stakeholders: investors, board of directors (BoD), management, employees, contractors, creditors, suppliers, authorities and the external community.

The corporate governance in Agora Oil & Gas AS determines how authority and accountability are distributed throughout the company. The BoD, as well as management and employees, have a responsibility to ensure that our business complies with the highest standards of corporate governance.

Control and management of the UK subsidiary, Agora Oil & Gas UK Ltd, is based on the same governance principles as for the parent company.
